Juno started with family life, not a feature list.
The idea came from the same things parents deal with every day: repeated reminders, trying to keep routines consistent, deciding what deserves a reward, and wanting children to understand what is expected without every interaction becoming another argument.
“I wasn’t trying to build another productivity app. I wanted to make the kind of family app I would actually want to use as a parent — clear for adults, motivating for children, and realistic about how busy family life can be.”
That is why Juno is deliberately parent-controlled, why children get their own focused experience, and why the app is built around everyday routines rather than abstract productivity. It is being shaped from a parent’s point of view, with the same practical questions other parents have: Will this save me time? Will my child understand it? Will it still feel simple after the novelty wears off?
